Help Us Protect Freedom of Vaccine Choice in Illinois!

The legislature is considering a set of bills, HB 4870 and SB 3668, that are very troubling. SB 1669 and HB 4870 would mandate the HPV vaccine for some school students; SB 3668 removes the religious belief exemption, restricts the medical exemption, and allows minors to consent to vaccination.

The government's vaccine adverse event reporting system (VAERS) lists a startling 57,287 adverse events from HPV vaccine, including 419 deaths--far more than any other vaccine. A World Health Organization study demonstrated that the vaccination has a tendency to produce clusters of serious adverse events. The American College of Pediatricians raised concerns that the vaccine could be linked to premature ovarian failure. And let's not forget the former Merck doctor who said that Gardasil "will become the greatest medical scandal of all time," that it "serves no other purpose than to generate profit for the manufacturer," and, like some other vaccines, that it can cause "Guillain-Barré syndrome, paralysis of the lower limbs, vaccine-induced MS, and vaccine-induced encephalitis."

This is a dangerous vaccine that should not be mandated by the state government.

The legislature is considering a set of bills, HB 4870 and SB 3668, that are very troubling. HB 4870 would mandate the HPV vaccine for some school students; SB 3668 removes the religious belief exemption, restricts the medical exemption, and allows minors to consent to vaccination.

This raises a number of concerns for parents, children, and patients in general.

I am very troubled by some of the ingredients that are used in vaccines, such as aluminum. Aluminum is a dangerous neurotoxin, and federal regulators have not done testing to ensure that the amount of aluminum being injected into children is safe. At the same time, there is a growing amount of data to show that aluminum can accumulate in the brain, spleen, and lymph nodes. We don't know what the long term damage could be.

Current law protects both my family's health and our right to make our own healthcare choices, and I call upon you to oppose HB 4870, SB 3668, and ANY legislation that would restrict freedom of choice.
