Support Vaccine Choice in Louisiana

The Louisiana legislature is considering a bill, HB 49, that would prohibit any requirement for a COVID-19 vaccine not approved by the FDA. If a COVID-19 vaccine is approved by the FDA, the bill establishes requirements before that vaccine can be required and allows for exemptions for medical, religious and philosophical reasons. The bill also states that no person shall be discriminated against or coerced in any way for refusing to receive an immunization or vaccination for COVID-19.
