Defend Your Access to Compounded Medications!

The Drug Quality and Security Act 2013 injects the FDA into the patient/physician relationship while doing little to ensure consumer safety. Worse, the FDA’s proposed regulations to implement the new law are a blatant perversion of congressional intent. As written, the proposed rules will likely result in a ban many compounded medications that millions of consumers rely on—for example, drugs like bioidentical estriol.

Write to Congress and the FDA. Tell FDA to stop intervening in the doctor/patient relationship, and ask Congress to carefully oversee the FDA’s rulemaking process regarding compounding, and swiftly intervene where consumer and doctor access to compounded medications is threatened.
