Tell the FDA to Reverse Their Ban on These Important Ingredients!

The FDA is continuing its war on the compounding of custom medications by eliminating even more approved ingredients. The agency has just ruled that curcumin and several other extremely important natural ingredients cannot be used in compounded medications—that is, in medications prepared for individual patients through a specialized compounding pharmacy.

At its most recent meeting, the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) voted on whether to include nine substances on the list of bulk drugs that may be compounded under FDA regulations following the passage of the Drug Quality and Security Act. Of these nine substances, only one was approved.

Write to the FDA and urge them to reconsider their rejection of these ingredients to the bulk drug list.
