It's that time of year again! Time to help us raise money for the Autism Alliance of Michigan and their support for families affected by autism.
A couple of things that are important about the organization and WHY we chose to participate (other than having an autistic child, of course).
Two things:
- Donations go toward educating law enforcement organizations for safer, more positive interactions with those on the spectrum and
- Providing wearable GPS tracking devices to families of kids prone to elopement
If for no other reason, please donate to help our families keep their kiddos safe, and help in providing safety for other members of our communities. I know I would love to hear one less story about a non-verbal child missing, or a story where they were found safe because of the tracking device.
There are three ways to donate: individual, business and anonymous. If you have ever benefited from our services, conversations or advice, please feel free to drop an anonymous donation! Happy to give a shout out to the businesses who donate, too. For the individuals who donate, please know how much it means to me personally.
Humbly,
Linda
