Thanks for visiting our Cameron Station Striders team page for the 42nd Annual StepALIVE! Walkathon!
We are participating in this annual event because we strongly believe in ALIVE!’s efforts to help our neighbors in need. The funds raised by StepALIVE! will allow ALIVE! to continue providing food, shelter, emergency financial assistance, and eviction prevention to thousands of Alexandrians who struggle with poverty and hunger.
This year, the StepALIVE! goal is to raise $100,000 to help Alexandrians, many of whose lives were upended by the COVID-19 pandemic and who continue to need our help. Together, we can make a difference!
Many of you know that our beloved neighbor Gerry Hebert, who died on September 7, had long been one of ALIVE!'s staunchest supporters. Although Gerry can't walk with us to support ALIVE! as he had hoped, he will definitely be walking with us in spirit.
