42nd Annual StepALIVE! Walkathon to Benefit ALIVE!
Support ALIVE! in its efforts to continue providing basic needs to Alexandrians experiencing poverty and hunger.
You can join other supporters in an outdoor kickoff, take a 5 mile or 5k walk through Old Town and back, and celebrate with an outdoor post-walk party.
HOW: Register online to walk or form a team, and make a tax-deductible donation
WHEN: Sunday, October 15, 2023
1:15pm | On-site Registration and T-shirt Pick-Up
2:00pm | Kickoff
3:30pm-4:30pm | Post-Walk Celebration
Parking Options: We will be gathering for the walk in the parking lot of First Christian Church so we ask that you park along King Street or at the nearby ALIVE! Member Congregations of First Baptist Church (2932 King St) and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (2810 King St). There will be limited on-site parking available for those participants who need it.

An interfaith organization founded in 1969, ALIVE! is the oldest and largest private safety net in the City of Alexandria dedicated to fighting poverty and hunger. ALIVE! is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing emergency and basic needs support to thousands of Alexandrians each month, with the support of 50 faith-based member congregations and over 900 volunteers. It has played a key role in Alexandria’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
