An initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), the World Partnership Walk is Canada's largest movement in support of global development, which engages tens of thousands of Canadians each year. The $130+ million raised through the Walk to date has contributed directly to over 180 initiatives in more than a dozen countries that have reduced poverty and improved the quality of life for millions in Africa and Asia.

We have been fundraising collectively together over the years with this community to contribute to AKFC’s wide range of activities to reduce poverty around the world, including programs to improve health care, education, resilience to climate change, and gender equality. As Walk participants, our efforts will help empower children to learn, equip healthcare workers to save lives, and support families to build brighter futures.
