Hello, I'm Mateen, and my sister's name is Alayna. We're teaming up to raise funds for the World Partnership Walk. Last year, we participated in this event, organized by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC). This walk stands as Canada's largest movement for global development, engaging tens of thousands of Canadians annually. The funds raised, surpassing $130 million to date, have directly fueled over 180 initiatives across numerous countries, positively impacting millions in Africa and Asia.
Alayna and I are deeply immersed in learning about AKFC and its endeavors. I'm guiding my one-year-old sister as we walk hand in hand, aiming to contribute to global poverty alleviation efforts. Our support extends to programs enhancing healthcare, education, climate resilience, and gender equality worldwide. As participants in this walk, our collective endeavors will facilitate children's education, equip healthcare professionals to save lives, and enable families to envision brighter futures.
