On April 5, the American Lung Association and LUNG FORCE Heroes — lung cancer survivors and their loved ones — are coming together from all 50 states at the U.S. Capitol to encourage their Senators and Representatives to support research funding and access to healthcare for lung cancer patients during the second annual LUNG FORCE Advocacy Day.
These lung cancer advocates are asking Congress for increased funding for research at the National Institutes of Health that will result in better treatments and methods of early detection of lung cancer, as well as quality, affordable healthcare so that patients can get the care they need.
Lung cancer touches so many families. Investing in research at the National Institutes of Health will lead to better early detection, improved treatments, longer survival and new hope for those facing lung cancer.
Support our lung cancer advocates, by sending a letter to your Senators and Representative to tell them you also support increased research funding at the National Institutes of Health, as well as quality, affordable healthcare for those affected by lung cancer.
If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from American Lung Association.
