The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a rule
to repeal the Clean Power Plan which established limits on carbon pollution
from existing power plants. Power plants are one of the largest contributors of
carbon pollution, a major driver of climate change which poses many risks to
The Clean Power Plan is essential to cleaning up carbon
pollution, a significant contributor to climate change, and other dangerous air
pollution from the nation's power plants. Climate change poses serious,
long-term health consequences including increased illness and death due to
respiratory illness, heat-related illness tress and vector-borne diseases.
Please take the time to send a message to the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency urging Adminstrator Pruitt to maintain and fully implement the
Clean Power Plan.
