Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’m raising money in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.  

Alzheimer’s disease has profoundly affected my family, particularly my grandfather, as he is currently battling this condition. 

The challenges associated with this diagnosis have created significant emotional strain for all of us, as we often find it difficult to connect with him in meaningful ways. This situation is made even more difficult by the fact that my stepdad has lost both his parents to dementia, highlighting the impact this has on families. The emotional toll of witnessing a loved one struggle with Alzheimer’s is tremendous, and it has ignited a deep desire within me to contribute positively to the fight against this illness. 

My goal is to educate myself further about Alzheimer’s disease and to raise awareness about its effects on individuals and families. Additionally, I am committed to raising funds and donating to Alzheimer’s research. Through these efforts, I hope to honor my grandfather and support others who are navigating similar challenges.
