Despite promises from food companies that they will phase out the use of BPA at some point, most cans are still lined with this dangerous chemical, including some of your favorite brands like Progresso, Healthy Choice, Del Monte and Campbell’s.
While we know that BPA is harmful for children, mounting scientific evidence, summarized in our new report Disrupted Development: The Dangers of Prenatal BPA Exposure, is showing us that it can be even more harmful to a developing fetus.
Until we get BPA out of food cans—and until we protect every woman who is or plans to be pregnant—the next generation is not safe from the toxic effects of BPA.
Tell canned food manufacturers to make good on their promise and to stop using BPA now!
