Climb the Wall 2025- Gibsons & District Volunteer Fire Department
8 members of the Gibsons and District Volunteer Fire Department are participating in this years Climb the Wall Fundraiser, raising funds for the BC Lung Foundation. We will be Climbing the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, March 2nd, to the 48th floor, in our full turnout gear and SCBA to raise funds for this very important cause.
The BC Lung Foundation fund vital research, advocate for policies that protect air quality. 1 in 5 British Columbians affected by a lung condition – asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer, among other diseases. Firefighters are very susceptible to lung disease and lung cancers. Help our Gibsons team raise funds for this very important cause, dear to our hearts.
