Help Minnesota Lead the Way in Wolf Protection (House)
Across the country, many states are declaring open season on wolves. Minnesota has an opportunity to take a different path and re-instate a moratorium on wolf hunting. Two companion bills this legislative session would ban wolf hunting for the next five years.
Senate Bill SF 666 already has cleared its first hurdle with passage by the Environment and Energy Committee, and next goes to the Finance Committee. Ask its members to hear and pass SF 666 today!
In the House of Representatives, HF 1163 has been referred to the Environment and Natural Resources Policy Committee. Please urge its members to take up HF 1163 as soon as possible.
The fate of Minnesota's wolf population hangs in the balance as both houses debate this important piece of legislation.
