2014 Offering of Letters: Reforming U.S. Food Aid
(English and Spanish Versions)
The United States is a leader in providing life-saving assistance overseas in the form of food aid in times of disaster and in long-term economic development. There is an opportunity in 2014 to reform the federal government’s food-aid programs so that funds are used more effectively and efficiently.
This year’s Offering of Letters, “Reforming U.S. Food Aid,” invites you to urge Congress to make changes that would allow food aid to benefit up to 17 million more people each year—at no additional cost to U.S. taxpayers.
Each Offering of Letters 2014 Kit in English includes a DVD, "Conducting an Offering of Letters" booklet, sample bulletin inserts, a poster, a resource order form, brochures, hunger facts and more. The Spanish Kit contains the handbook and DVD.
