Every year, the work of transfusion specialists touches the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients in Canada who rely on lifesaving and life-changing transfusions. Your support will help to ensure that the number of medical transfusion specialists in Canada will continue to grow in order to help every patient, match every need and serve every Canadian.

The Elianna Saidenberg Transfusion Medicine Traineeship Award makes it possible for a select number of Canada’s emerging medical leaders to access specialty transfusion medicine training. 

Your support will establish a sustainable funding source to educate tomorrow’s leaders in transfusion medicine and to help patients with chronic lifelong diseases, a cancer diagnosis or other emergencies which cause a sudden and urgent need for blood and blood specialists.
