What are the Fundraising Rewards levels?

All participants in the CIBC Run for the Cure who individually raise $300 or more are eligible for the Fundraising Rewards program. See the Fundraising Rewards program for details on the levels and prizes.

How will participants be notified that they’re eligible for Rewards?

We asked participants at registration if they wanted to receive the reward based on achieving the goal of $300, $1000 and $2500. This was a mandatory question. We will use the information from their registration completion to send out the rewards. For offline participants, we will assume they all want a reward as we did not include this option on the offline forms.

Participants who raise at least $300 are required to have all fundraising dollars and forms received by Canadian Cancer Society by September 30, 2018 in order to qualify for the Fundraising Rewards program.

Is my Fundraising Reward level transferable?

No. The Fundraising Reward level reached individually cannot be transferred to another participant.

Does my team fundraising total count towards the Fundraising Rewards program?

No. Team fundraising totals are NOT eligible for Fundraising Rewards, and they do not count towards an individual’s fundraising total.

When will donations be counted for Rewards?

All donations for rewards must be in by midnight September 30, 2018.

After a participant is notified that they’ve hit a Reward level, can the shipping address be changed?

The participant can contact Donor Services department at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-888-939-3333and advise of the change, but only if the reward has not been shipped.

If a participant changes their mind about opting-in to Rewards what should they do?

The Participant must contact Donor Services department at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-888-939-3333, so that they can correct the record.

I did not receive my Fundraising Reward. What should I do?

Please contact Donor Services department at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-888-939-3333. Please have your confirmation email handy and our representatives will be happy to assist you.

How long will it take for my reward to arrive?

Depending on the location, it will take 3-6 weeks for delivery from the time the Fulfillment Centre receives the notification that a participant qualifies for a reward.

A Reward was damaged when I received my package. What is the return policy?

The participant should contact Donor Services department at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-888-939-3333 arrange a new shipment.
