Social media is a powerful tool for fundraising. Think about why you are Sleeping Out, and include a personal appeal on your social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn etc.)
1. Find some natural lighting
Having nice, natural lighting from a window will make for the best selfie. Show off your Sleep Out smile and look at the camera.
2. Take more than one photo…..and we mean a lot!
Have a variety of images so you can post different ones to attract attention throughout the weeks leading up to Sleep Out.
3. Embrace your Sleep Out self
Right before you snap a selfie, remember why you joined the Sleep Out Movement and you will genuinely shine for your pic! Because of you, more than 100 youth find safety and support at Covenant House Vancouver every day.

Covenant House Vancouver actively promotes each Sleep Out event and we encourage you to share, like and comment on our posts. The hashtag for the Sleep Out Movement is #CHSleepOut. All posts to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram that include #CHSleepOut will add to the conversation on social media and help the Sleep Out movement.
