Several days ago, ChinaAid President Bob Fu worked with the State Department to help stop the repatriation of 23-year old Yi Li Sen from Ukraine to China. Yi Li, an ethnic Kazakh man from Xinjiang, traveled across Central Asia and planned to find freedom in Western Europe before detention in Ukraine. 

Chinese Communist Party Says Worship Must Halt

On November 17th, armed military police stormed Xuncheng Church and demanded worship stop. Local police seized Minister An Yankui and several other Christians and took them for interrogation. Visit the ChinaAid website to see photos of Minister An preaching and the subsequent police raid. 

Please also keep Pastor Juncai Li of the demolished Yuanyang County Central House Church in your prayers. Pastor Juncai awaits a retrial after a court decided to return the case to the local prosecutor. He’s been detained since February 2019. 

ChinaAid’s also reported on persecution against Elder Li Yingqiang of Early Rain Covenant Church. Early in November, Elder Li posted on Facebook that local officials were forcing his family to move once again. 

Pastor Bob Fu Files Lawsuit Against Guo Wengui 

In mid-November, attorneys for Bob Fu filed a federal lawsuit alleging Guo Wengui is orchestrating a "multi-faceted campaign of character assassination" to silence Bob and his work to promote religious freedom and human rights in China. Read the press release here.

On November 3rd, ChinaAid released a letter sent by Bob to Guo Wengui demanding a retraction to the accusations, slander, and death threats made against him.
