I am participating in the Walk/Roll/Cycle 4 CMT event to raise money for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA). The CMTA is a 501c3 non-profit working with world-class partners to advance treatment-oriented research through STAR (Strategy to Accelerate Research).
To people with CMT, which includes me, my mom, my brother, maybe my son, and several hundred of my real-life friends, STAR research for a cure means regaining feeling in the extremities, walking without tripping, buttoning shirts, and easily picking up change off a flat surface. STAR is synonymous with stopping the progression of CMT and living a life without limitations. I want that for every one of the kids I volunteer with at Camp Footprint East and West; for my family and friends; and for the 3 million people worldwide living with CMT that I haven't met (yet).
STAR is HOPE for a future without CMT.
Please help make a difference in the lives of those living with CMT and for our generations to come.
Together, with your support, we can reach our fundraising goal.
Thank you in advance for supporting me and the CMTA. I know we all have causes we care about, and it means the world to me that you are willing to lend your support to mine. Thank you, from the top of my CMT blue head to the bottom of my CMT numb toes!!!! <3 <3 <3
