Sunday 9/29 is the big Cycle4CMT event that Mary Cate and Aaron have been working on all year!
Thanks in advance for supporting me! I am planning to ride the full 30 miles and it will be my first attempt to ride since breaking my ankle last January.
As you probably know, our daughter, Mary Cate has been living with CMT4C for most of her life. She has undergone regular physical therapy treatments which followed surgeries. In February, she gave birth to a baby girl, Hildy! We need to help fund a natural history study so better treatments can be made possible in the hope of finding a cure for CMT. Mary Cate, Aaron and Hildy are working hard to help raise the necessary funding for CMTA.

I am participating in the Cycle 4 CMT event to raise money for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA). The CMTA is a 501c3 non-profit working with world-class partners to advance treatment-oriented research through STAR (Strategy to Accelerate Research).
To people with CMT, STAR research for a cure means regaining feeling in the extremities, walking without tripping, buttoning shirts, and easily picking up change off a flat surface. STAR is synonymous with stopping the progression of CMT and living a life without limitations.
STAR is hope for a future without CMT.
Please help make a difference in the lives of those living with CMT and for our generations to come.
