Central New Jersey Walk4CMT

Caden's Crew

Imagine a little boy who just started first grade, dreams of playing in the big leagues, despite facing daily challenges with muscle weakness and coordination issues due to Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT). That’s our son, Caden. His love for sports and his vibrant spirit shine through every day. Simple tasks such as running, putting on shoes, holding a pencil, opening a yogurt or water bottle can be tough for him, but Caden’s determination is even tougher.
We’re inviting you to join us for our 3rd Annual Walk for CMT Disease on September 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Somerset Patriots Stadium in Bridgewater. This walk is more than an event—it’s a chance to support Caden and others like him.

We are excited to participate in Cycle 4 CMT to raise money for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA). The CMTA is a 501c3 non-profit working with world-class partners to advance treatment-oriented research through STAR (Strategy to Accelerate Research).

To people with CMT, STAR research for a cure means regaining feeling in the extremities, walking without tripping, buttoning shirts, and easily picking up change off a flat surface. STAR is synonymous with stopping the progression of CMT and living a life without limitations.

STAR is hope for a future without CMT.

Please help make a difference in the lives of those living with CMT and for our generations to come.

Together, with your support, we can reach our fundraising goal.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
