Since its beginnings in 1959, the Chorus of Westerly has been generously supported by the entire New England region. The support of so many individuals, businesses, and other organizations has allowed the Chorus to not only survive for 52 seasons, but also to grow and sustain itself as an arts organization of the highest quality. The Chorus of Westerly and its members past and present are so very grateful for over five decades of this support.This past year, over 4,500 individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations supported the Chorus of Westerly and its programs through generous gifts to a variety of special fundraising campaigns. Indeed, more than 60% of the Chorus of Westerly's annual operating and performance budget is now supported through financial contributions from the larger community.There are a variety of campaigns in which these 4,500 individuals and corporations support the Chorus of Westerly. Currently, these include the Annual Fund Campaign (the largest and most important fundraiser annually; this fundraisers supports the yearly operating costs of the Chorus, including direct performance expenses for all events), the Summer Pops Fund Campaign (which supports the production of the annual Summer Pops concert in Wilcox Park), the Alumni Giving Circle (supporting the March concert), the Paver Project (to support the Chorus Endowment), and the Chorus Endowment Campaign (to support the restricted Chorus endowment).We encourage you to join the 4,500 individuals and corporations already supporting the Chorus by contributing online today. Chorus of Westerly Annual Fund Drive Levels
Support of the Chorus of Westerly's Annual Fund supports the day-to-day
operations of the Chorus of Westerly including the costs for
performances (everything from the lights to the orchestra), the costs of
operating the George Kent Hall Performance Hall on a daily basis. It
is the most important annual fundraiser for the Chorus of Westerly and
the key to our programming continuing.

Westerly Summer Pops Fund Drive
The annual Summer Pops performance, taking place the third weekend of June every year, is full produced and performed by the Chorus of Westerly. The Chorus raises funds to cover all of the expenses of this performance which is offered to the community free of charge. As such, support from generous individuals, businesses, and corporations is vital to the event being carried out each year. Supporters will be listed in the Summer Pops program and the Chorus of Westerly seasonal program. Westerly - Supporting Twelfth Night
annual performances of A Celebration of Twelfth Night, taking place in January every year, is fully produced and performed by the Chorus of Westerly. It features the entire Chorus, a cast of over 100, and another 60 member support staff (95% of whom are all volunteers). It is one of the community's most amazing events. Each year, the Chorus raises funds to cover many of the expenses of this performance

The Chorus of Westerly Endowment CampaignThe Chorus of Westerly's Endowment, a fund whose growth and interest helps support Chorus of Westerly activities annually, has been growing steadily over the last decade thanks to the support of many members of the community. This fund, different from the Annual Fund Drive, is a permanent restricted fund that the Chorus draws revenue from in the form of interest and other investment strategies. Soon, the Chorus of Westerly will engage in a new campaign to support and sustain the Endowment, whose purpose is to sustain the Chorus and the George Kent Performance Hall for decades to come.
