The Chicago Public Library Foundation Junior Board, invites you to challenge your knowledge of the musical history of our “Sweet Home” Chicago. Join us at Fatpour (2005 W Division St) on Wednesday, November 15 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. to support life changing programs at Chicago Public Library that are made possible thanks to donor support.

Trivia Night’s musical theme celebrates the release of Chicago Public Library’s music themed 2017-18 One Book, One Chicago selection, I'll Take You There: Mavis Staples, the Staple Singers, and the Music That Shaped the Civil Rights Era by Greg Kot.

Trivia categories will include:

  • Chicago Classics (1930-1999)
  • Contemporary Hits (2000-present)
  • Music from Chicago Artists in Film
  • Classical Music and Theater


We encourage guests to attend in groups of four, but will arrange teams for those who are not in a group. Teams will compete for a variety of prizes and the best SWAG the Chicago Public Library Foundation has to offer.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Trivia begins promptly at 7:00.

Tickets are $40.00 per person ($20 is tax-deductible and funds library programs). Ticket price includes trivia admission, beer/wine and call liquor open bar until 8:30 p.m. Guest can purchase bar bites throughout the night, and cash bar after 8:30 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning team of each category, the team with the best name, with an additional grand prize for the team with the most overall wins of the night.

For those who end up outsmarted, there will be a second chance to win during our raffle drawing. Raffle tickets for great prizes will be available for purchase ($10) until 9:00 p.m.
