We are a father and son team representing Zach's Act II. 

Recently, two of Zach's college friends/fraternity brothers have joined our team to ride with us on this event!  Welcome Pierce and Tanner to the team!

Zach’s Act II represents Zach’s 2nd chance at life given he almost died twice from a horrific climbing accident back on October 16th, 2018.

We owe many thanks to Craig Hospital’s staff of doctors, therapists, and facility staff that helped Zach on his path of recovery from a TBI and for training our family with caregiving skills to care for Zach on his continued road of recovery.

As part of our effort to pay forward to Craig Hospital, we are participating in this bicycle event on September 18th, 2021 to raise money for them.

Recently in August 2021, Zach was introduced through a Craig Hospital event, road biking using a recumbent trike. This was the first time in over 3 years that Zach got behind a bicycle since the accident and was able to once again experience the freedom and thrill of being in control of an apparatus with wheels.

His motto that he expressed was from Ricky Bobby's quote “I want to go fast!"

Zach will be riding on a loaned recumbent trike for this bicycle event. Ed, the dad, will be biking alongside with Zach on his mountain bike to ride on the 10K route.

Our goal is to raise at least $300.00 each for a combined total of $600.00 for the team. Please help us to achieve this goal so that Craig Hospital may use these funds to help others in need.
