Donna Goldberg's Personal Page
Hello! As you know, I have worked at Craig Hospital for over 40 years (gulp--time sure flies when you love what you do!). Each year, Craig puts on an event that allows current in-patients, out-patients, grads, family members as well as the entire community to participate in something fun that unites all of us in a common goal. Pedal4Possible has historically been a bike riding event of varying distances but, like so many other things in the current state of affairs, this year's event will be entirely virtual. The good thing about that is that people can participate from wherever they live, and it opens the door to allow any kind of recreation--not just biking. Better yet, we have a full week to accumulate and track our miles and/or duration of participation. I plan to do some biking, hiking, running, strength and cardio exercises and a lot more.
Pedal4Possible is also a fundraising event. All of the proceeds go to the Craig Culture of Care fund, which provides funds for programs at the hospital like Therapeutic Recreation (that's where I work), Music Therapy, Education for school-aged patients, Community Reintegration and more. I am hoping that you will find a way to contribute to this excellent cause. No donation is too big or too small.
Please click on the link to go to my secure donation page, or you can also find the details for how you can mail a check if you would rather do it that way. Thank you very much! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this fund raiser. If you would like to register to participate you can do that, too!
