Welcome to Kevin T's page
It's been a little over a year since my accident. It feels like the year went by really fast. I still come to Craig for therapy which I did a lot over the summer. I still rely on Craig to help with my health, fitness/therapy, and recreation. I'm going to school full-time now and so spending time at Craig is harder but I still go. Just last week, my adaptive game controller broke and Danielle and Cody (Craig) got me the parts to repair it right away.
My goals for this year are to get stronger. Now that all my medical surgeries and restrictions are over, I can focus on strength training. I'm hoping I can also fix my shoulder blade issues so I can get in my manual wheelchair more.
I want to thank the community, friends, and family for all the amazing support over the past year. Whether you ride/donate or not, your support has meant a lot to me. Please don't feel obligated to ride/donate but if you feel like joining me this year and/or going for a bike ride, I"ll be riding in P4P on an adaptive tandem bike with my dad.
Craig was able to find a bike that we could ride together since I"m not quite strong enough to ride by myself and I have some unique needs for an adaptive bicycle. I'm hoping in next year's P4P I can ride my own adaptive bike. I joined the teen "TRAC" team again this year so be sure to join our team or link to me as a participant. Come by and say hi or ride with me. I'll be riding the 6mile loop that starts around 11am. Look for me, I'll be wearing my Fairview Mtn Bike Jersey. The ride this year is in Louisville, CO on Sept 18th.
My mom and dad are late a lot, I know they are busy, so they just got me registered. If you already registered just email my mom or dad (email@example.com) and they can get you linked to me or the TRAC team. My mom won't be there, she accidently booked a mom's weekend away for that weekend but my dad will be there.
Thanks - Kevin
