What is the registration fee?

What time does the event start?

The ride starts at 11:00 AM with the option of two start times, 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM. All riders must be off course by 2:00 PM. Other than that, the ride is entirely in your hands!

How many people are on a team?

Teams must have at least two members.

Do I need to register my child?

Yes. We require riders of of all ages* to register.

*If your child is 3 or under and riding a trailer, you do not need to register them. Only children who are riding independently on their own bike need to be registered.

How do I participate virtually?

Celebrate what’s possible from your own homes and neighborhoods by doing any kind of recreational activity this fall. Prefer to complete your activity in one day? Great! Do you want to take it slow-and-steady? That's fine too! You get to create your own goals and rules!

Make sure you tag your photos and videos of your activity on your own social media accounts using the hashtag #P4P24. We will highlight some of these pics and participant stories during Pedal 4 Possible week on Craig's social media channels.

Can I register more than one person at a time?

Yes! You may register multiple participants in one registration payment. Please make sure you have accurate Jersey/Dri-fit Top sizes.

NOTE: As long as you have used separate emails for each participant, everyone registered will have access to their own personal page in the Fundraising Center.

I registered but now I can't attend. Can I get a refund?

You are permitted to move your registration to another participant, but we cannot offer a refund for any reason.

I registered last year, but I can't remember my password. How do I reset it?

Navigate to our participant login page, and select “forgot password” and you will be sent an email with a link to reset your password.

Is there anywhere I can connect with other participants?

Yes! We have Instagram and Facebook accounts and we’d love for you to follow us! Share your stories, activities, and cheer each other on!

What is my Participant Center and where do I find it?

After you register, you will be able to build your personal fundraising page, located in your Participant Center. Whenever you are logged into your account, the Particpant Center button is located in the top right corner of the page. Once in your Participant Center you’ll see links to edit your page, view donations, and send emails. Our 2024 Fundraising Guide will walk through using the Participant Center and offers tips about maximizing your fundraising efforts. 

Am I required to fundraise in order to participate?

Fundraising is not required, but we strongly encourage each participant to raise money to support patients at Craig. Plus, you'll earn fundraising prizes if you raise $300 or more by November 4!

After you register, you will be able to update your personal fundraising page and this is where you would input your goal and why you are participating.

What are the fundraising incentive levels and what do I get if I reach them?

We have fundraising incentive gifts at the $300, $500, $1500, and $5000 levels! Items are tbd, but check back soon for updates.

I raised $300! When will I receive my jersey or dri-fit top?

Participants that raise $300 (registration fee not included) by 8/23 will receive their jersey or dri-fit top before the event. Jerseys and dri-fit tops earned after 8/23 will be mailed several weeks after the event. Participants may continue to fundraise until November 4!

What are the jersey and dri-fit top size options?

Both jerseys and dri-fit tops fall into the standard fit category. Please see the chart below for measurements and please note they do run small!

What if my jersey or dri-fit top doesn't fit?

We recommend double checking the size chart before submitting your size. Jerseys and dri-fit topes cannont be traded for different sizes after November 4!

How long do I ride and how do I track my laps?

Make this year’s Pedal 4 Possible ride all your own!

You get to decide how long you want to ride! The track is a 2.55-mile loop with plenty of turns and hills to keep things interesting. The ride starts at 11:00 AM with the option of two start times, 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM. All riders must be off course by 2:00 PM. Other than that, the ride is entirely in your hands!

We know some of you are used to signing up for a specific distance – in past years, you chose to ride 100k, 50k, 30k, or 10k. You let us know that the distance was not as relevant as just being OUT THERE all together on the course. This year, enjoy time on the course with riders of all abilities side by side in a unique way that only a closed loop can offer.

Perhaps you are interested in setting a goal of riding for a consistent 60 min, 90 min, or more! Or, you want to be together in comradery with other riders supporting Craig Hospital. See how you feel while out there to determine how far to go!

If you want to take on specific distances, you will track your own laps:

• 50k – approximately 12 laps
• 30k – approximately 7 laps
• 10k – approximately 2.5 laps

We encourage you to make this ride your own in length and time. The important part is that we are all in this together, riding for Craig Hospital!

Are there any sharp turns on the track?

While there are no sharp turns, there is one turn coming out of the downhill section. The track is also flat and rides similar to a road course - it does not have banks on any turns.

Can my child ride in a trailer?

Bike trailers and trailer bikes (also known by the brand name Trail-a-Bike) are welcome on all courses.

Will there be aid stations?

Yes! We will have a centrally located aid station along the course.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes, all riders (no matter the age) must wear helmets at all times when cycling.

Are safety flags required for recumbent bikes and hand cycles?

Yes.

When and where is packet pick-up?

Packet pick-up will take place the morning of the ride at High Plains Raceway. We'll see you there!

What happens if it rains?

P4P is rain or shine, unless a weather emergency occurs. According to the National Weather Service, a weather emergency includes high winds, flooding, extreme heat, and wildfires.

Can I bring friends and family?

We love cheerleaders at the start/finish line! If friends and family are interested in being on the course, please have them register to volunteer for the event.

We are accepting $20 donations online and at the registration table to cover the food and beverage costs for non-riders/volunteers.

Can I bring my dog?

While we love all pets, P4P is not a pet friendly event. Please leave your fur babies at home.

Service animals are welcome.

How much of my donation will benefit Craig patients?

Every dollar you raise goes into our Pedal 4 Possible Fund which supports patients, programs, and research at Craig. Thank you for what you make possible with your fundraising!

How do I apply for a matching gift with my employer?

Company matching is a great way to make your fundraising dollars go further! Please speak with a representative from your company's Human Resource department for more information. Our EIN is 23-7352287.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

All online donations will be acknowledged via email. Please contact us if you need a copy for your files.

Donations of any amount made offline will receive an acknowledgement letter in the mail.

Where do I send donations made by check? Who do I make checks payable to?

Please make checks payable to "Craig Hospital Foundation" and write "P4P" and the name of the participant (if you are donating to a participant) in the memo.
