Third Year Hiking for a Cure!
25.5 miles in one day to tell childhood cancer to take a hike!
Since my first Ultimate Hike in 2020, I've been blessed to meet some amazing people and discover a love of hiking. I've also had the privilege of hearing some incredible stories, some heartbreaking, some triumphant. It's with those stories in mind, I've decided to hike again this year. Children with cancer need our help now more than ever, so on August 13th I'll be lacing up and hiking 25.5 miles all in one day to raise critical funds to support CureSearch's cutting-edge research programs. I'm training hard so I can take care of the miles, but I need your help raising funds. If you're able, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help tell childhood cancer to take a hike. Every dollar helps!
How will your donation help?
Cancer is the leading cause of disease death in children in this country with 47 kids diagnosed each day. For children who do survive a childhood cancer diagnosis, 2 out of 3 will develop at least one chronic health condition, including secondary cancers, due to the toxic treatments they receive. Today, the vast majority of therapies given to children diagnosed with cancer were developed and approved before 1990 - over 30 years ago! Our kids deserve better. Your donation will ensure that CureSearch can continue leading the way to end childhood cancer and deliver new, better childhood cancer treatments.
Thank you for your support!
