About the Ultimate Hike

Beginning near Tofte, MN, our Superior Hiking Trail hike includes 25.5 miles of our northernmost trail, overlooking sparkling Lake Superior. The Superior Hiking Trail is a 277-mile footpath that largely follows the rocky ridgeline above Lake Superior on Minnesota's North Shore from Duluth to the Canadian border. This challenging trail is one not to be missed due to its beautiful forest views and spectacular lakeoverlooks. Don't miss this Great Lakes Great Adventure! Additional hike distances are available.
