By holding a fundraiser for Daily Bread, you'll help ensure that our neighbours can access fresh, nutritious food - this holiday season and beyond.

Here’s why your support is so important right now:

• After they’ve paid for housing, the average food bank client has $7.83 per left per day to cover all other expenses – including food – making it impossible for them to stock the recommended supply of provisions for their family. 

• Since the beginning of the pandemic, food bank use has continued to rise, with Daily Bread seeing an average of nearly 25,000 food bank visits per week - up from 15,000 in March.

• In response to recent lockdown measures, Daily Bread has had to cancel our scheduled 2020 Holiday Food Drive event. Your fundraising efforts will allow Daily Bread to purchase the necessary food to meet this increased demand and continue to provide uninterrupted service.
