Welcome to the TeamTristan Page

A Little Background
In January 2012, I was officially diagnosed with stage 3C Colorectal Cancer and Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). Due to the seriousness of my diagnosis my healthcare team began an aggressive treatment plan that included Radiation Therapy, Oral and Infused Chemotherapy followed by two surgeries (one to remove my entire colon and create a diverting loop iliostomy and a second to take down the iliostomy six months later). I am happy to say I continue to be cancer free with only one small complication that presented me with a small bowel obstruction that resulted from scar tissue in April of 2019. I am blessed to have had so much attention love and support from family, friends and my healthcare team.
In my effort to give back to my community and to advance the treatment and research for colon cancer, I am taking part in a number of awareness activities to inform as many folks as possible about the risk factors, treatment options and support for those with a diagnosis or family history of Colon Cancer primarily and other forms of cancer.
Please join me in this effort by making a small contribution to this event and please add all of us (past/current cancer patients, their families, and their healthcare teams) to your prayers.
Peace and Blessings,
Tristan and TeamTristan
