Ovarian Cancer is one of the deadliest and most silent cancers of the female reproductive tract. It can go unnoticed for a long time due to the vague symptoms it may produce as it grows. It does not discriminate and it's often found at advanced stages which are more difficult to treat. In my brief time as a resident at Duke I have met countless women who have been affected by this awful disease who have demonstrated true resilience in the face of uncertainty and pain. I plan to run for the lovely ladies I care so much about each day at work. You know who you are!
Point blank... Ovarian cancer must be stopped. Advances in research regarding this terrible disease are the way to help change the course of this disease and help women all over the world who are affected.
PLEASE join me in my efforts to support Ovarian Cancer Research as I participate in the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run.
Once again, thank you for your generous support! Together we can make a difference!
Peace and love,
