Help Me Be a HERO for CHaD
It's that time of year again.......Time to be a CHaD Hero
I'm participating in the CHaD HERO 1/2 Marathon for the 10th year in a row this October. This is my time to give back to CHaD for the great care they provided to Connor and my family when he was 2 years old. We were there having his heart procedure to fix his Bicuspid Aortic Stenosis. Scariest time of our lives but no better place to deal with this situation. Connor is now 12 years old and in 7th grade with a zest for life. He has no restrictions on activities he wants to do. This isn't true for many kids that are CHaD patients, that is why I run this race and strive to raise $1,000+ again this year. It's all about providing the best care for kids and their families that need it most. Year in and year out you all have answered the call and helped me hit my goal, I'm hoping I can count on you again this year. Please join me in my fundraising mission by clicking the "Donate Now" button on the right.
CHaD HERO proceeds fund critical child and family support services at CHaD, including the Child Life Program, Molly's Place, and the Child Advocacy & Protection Program and more.
Your Donation Matters:
Regardless of size, every donation matters, and I sincerely appreciate your support on behalf of CHaD. Here are some reasons I'm asking for your donation:
•CHaD serves 85,000 unique pediatric patients annually from across Northern New England
•No child is ever turned away due to financial or insurance circumstances
•The Child Life Program alone is able to serve 12,000 kids each year thanks, in part, to fundraising from the CHaD HERO.
Thank you for supporting CHaD kids!
P.S. I will once again be wearing my superman underwear on the outside of my clothes to help me fly through the course ;)
