Welcome to the my personal page
Again this year I will be participating in the 38th Annual Prouty, held on July 12 & 13, 2019, in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Money raised helps to fund cancer research and patient supportive services at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of only 49 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute. Supporting The Prouty means supporting researchers and clinicians who are working on innovative ways to prevent, diagnose, treat and hopefully, one day, cure cancer. You’re also supporting important patient supportive services that would otherwise not be funded such as support groups, massage, writing and arts therapy programs.
My wife Mary Chamberlin, is an Oncologist at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center (NCCC) and is also part of a golobal health initiative at Dartmouth that is working on cancer education and training in low resource countires. This year she has formed a new team for the Prouty bike event called Dartmouth Without Borders, specifically to raise awareness about the rising global burden of cancer. Her goal is to continue to expand existing global health programs in Rwanda, Honduras, Kosovo, Tanzania, and Peru.
Donations to Mary and our team will be matched by both the Byrne Foundation and another local foundation. Once the Prouty minimums are reached, the local foundation will make a second match to her global health initiative. This is an incrediblre opportunity to maximize you contributions, support cancer research and training both here and abroad.

Thank you for your support!
