Welcome to The Prouty page of Paul Gross
This year I will be participating in the 38th Annual Prouty, held on July 12 & 13, trying to bike 100 miles on Friday and to row 20 miles on Saturday, as well as doing some volunteering.
I recently heard of 2 more friends fighting cancer, which has brought home even more the need for more research and care at Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Everyone who donates in my name will be riding along on my bike and in my scull as I row the 20 miles on the Connecticut River. I carry ribbons with your name and the names of friends who have been claimed by cancer, who are fighting cancer now, or who have survived.
Money raised helps to fund cancer research and patient supportive services at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of only 49 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute. Supporting The Prouty means supporting researchers and clinicians who are working on innovative ways to prevent, diagnose, treat and hopefully, one day, cure cancer. You’re also supporting important patient supportive services that would otherwise not be funded such as support groups, massage, writing and arts therapy programs.
