Welcome to Jean's Legacy Fund
Dear Prouty Friends,
We hope that you are safe and well, and that you are taking good care of yourself and your loved ones in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have news from the Friends of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. As some may have heard, Jean Brown has decided that the time has come to retire and she will be stepping down as the Executive Director of the Friends of NCCC on August 1, 2020.
Jean has given herself completely and tirelessly to the work and mission of the Friends since 2003—17 years of leadership. Jean has fostered a community of sponsors, donors, event participants, and volunteers who have raised funds for NCCC with passion and generosity.
Under Jean’s leadership the Friends Board has dedicated itself to supporting patient and family services and cutting-edge research at the Cancer Center. During her tenure The Prouty™ has grown to an impressive $3 million+ annual fundraiser, and she has built the foundation for continued future success.
To honor Jean’s legacy, we have established the Jean’s Legacy Fund, a tangible way for us to recognize her service and to say thank you. This Fund will support research and patient and family services as well as count in 2020 Prouty totals. Rest assured the 2020 Prouty will continue, albeit with modifications – stay tuned for details.
To make a gift in Jean’s honor, please click on the donate button or send a check payable to Friends of NCCC, noting Jean’s Legacy Fund in the memo line, to One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756. There will also be additional opportunities to honor Jean’s many contributions in the months ahead, with additional details to follow.
Thank you for your continued support of The Prouty and of our effort to celebrate Jean for all she has done to champion Norris Cotton Cancer Center’s fight against cancer.
Let’s send Jean into retirement in style!
