Why am I participating in Easterseals Walk With Me & 5K Run Delmarva?
I want to help make a difference in the lives of seniors and people living with disabilities. By joining in Walk With Me, I am helping to create a kinder and stronger community and a world filled with limitless possibilities.
I trust that Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is a fiscally responsible organization. For over 40 years, the National Health Council has cited Easterseals as the nationwide leader among its member voluntary non-profit healthcare organizations for the percentage of program dollars spent on direct client services. Over 90% of revenues are directed to services provided to children and adults with disabilities in our region.
I know that Easterseals stands by its mission to provide exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people with disabilities, seniors, their families and caregivers can live, learn, work and play in our communities.
