For over 40 years, the Volleyball Challenge has raised critically-needed funds to help Easterseals provide exceptional services to children and adults with disabilities so they can achieve their greatest level of independence.

The 2024 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge has two locations and dates this year to choose from. On March 9, 2024 at William Penn High School in New Castle Delaware, and on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware. Play at one location or both! If playing at both, you only pay one registration fee.

To join in the fun, team captains invite 6-10 individuals to become part of their team to play in a 90-minute rotation on one of the two days of the challenge.

Each team is encouraged to raise a minimum of $1,500. For a team of 10 people, that's a commitment from each team member to raise just $150!

By participating in this event, everyone can help change lives. Here are just some examples:

• $150 helps provide physical therapy for a child with developmental delays.
• $1,500 helps send a child or adult with disabilities to Easterseals' Camp Fairlee where they can experience the joys and challenges of a fully-accessible summer camp.

The Volleyball Challenge offers teams a chance to have fun, exercise, and meet some terrific new people!

I believe that by participating in the Volleyball Challenge, I am personally investing in a kinder and stronger community and a world filled with infinite possibilities.

For over 40 years, the National Health Council has cited Easterseals as the nationwide leader among its member voluntary non-profit healthcare organizations for the percentage of program dollars spent on direct client services. Over 90% of revenues are directed to services provided to children and adults with disabilities in our region.

I know that Easterseals stands by its mission to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
