Play - The Volleyball Challenge will be held on March 8, 2025, at University of Delaware's Carpenter Sports Building in Newark.  You choose a 90-minute playing slot.

What is the Volleyball Challenge?

The Volleyball Challenge is an annual event that raises urgently needed dollars to provide services for children and adults with disabilities - services like: children's therapy (physical, speech and occupational therapies), day programs for adults with physical disabilities or intellectual disabilities, assistive technology services, year-round camping at Easterseals Camp Fairlee and respite services for caregivers.

Teams of 6-10 people register to play volleyball for 90 minutes on the date and time they select.  Fundraising begins now!  Use creative ways to fundraise including asking family, friends and co-workers to donate; host a bake sale; have a yard sale; organize a guest bartending night; host a dine-in night at a local restaurant; raffle off a special item, etc.  All proceeds support people with disabilities in our local community.

How big is the event?

Each year over 100 volunteers, and over 75 companies and teams, come together to play, volunteer, and sponsor this exciting event. Since 2001, we have raised over $6 million for Easterseals!
