My name is Jenna, and at the age of 28, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This diagnosis came completely out of the blue; I had no symptoms, and we were lucky to catch it via a routine scan. I had already been medically complex with a laundry list of diagnoses for a number of years, and adding cancer to the list was completely terrifying. 

I’m grateful that Fox Chase was where I landed for my cancer care. I had (and have!) the absolute best team. They always made sure to treat me as a whole person, and never focused solely on the cancer. In the scariest time of my life, every single person at Fox Chase did their best to put me at ease, to make me smile, to bring a laugh into my day. I never looked forward to my treatments, but I always looked forward to seeing the staff. I still do.

Fox Chase saved my life (I’m almost two years in remission!), and I can’t put into words how happy I am to have the opportunity to give back.
