Frequently Asked Questions
Funds raised from the walk support the food bank and our partners programs who serve the estimated 545,000 people in Connecticut who struggle with hunger, and those who are new to hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, tens of thousands of dollars raised at the Walk was distributed to the participating benefiting agencies. The funds also support long-term efforts to increase access to healthy food and address the underlying issues that contribute to hunger. In supporting this event, you help us continue this important work.
The Walk is 1.5 miles, starting and ending at Dunkin' Donuts Park. A route map for the Walk is available on the Event Details page.
