Connecticut Food Bank / Foodshare Walk Against Hunger

Jewish Community of Greater Hartford

Please join the Jewish Community of Greater Hartford as we walk in our own individual event Sunday September 12 at 3pm. We will walk from Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave to Beth David Synagogue, 20 Dover Road, and then walk back to Beth Israel. In observance of Shabbat, we will NOT be joining Foodshare's main walk the following weekend.

Parking for Beth Israel is on the street or in the parking lot behind Beth Israel on Fenway.

You can join our Walk team by clicking the Donate Now button! In addition to donating monetarily, please bring a canned food item to our walk.

We know that the issue of hunger is big, but thankfully, our community is bigger. Now more than ever, your generosity plays a vital role in supporting our neighbors who struggle with hunger. Please join our fundraising efforts to help make an impact on hunger in Connecticut by donating to the Walk Against Hunger.

Estimates show that 545,000 people across Connecticut will struggle to put food on the table this year and nearly a third of those people are children. Your support will help power the food bank's statewide efforts to serve those in need.

Thank you for helping me knock hunger out of the park!
