Real Mexican food is even better - and better for you - than you might think.
In this hands-on class, chef Raymundo Rios of Tortilleria Doña Toña will show you how easy it is to make authentic Mexican street food. Dividing Mexico in four regions and making a dish from each region, you will learn how seasonal Central Texas ingredients combine perfectly with the versatility of the Mexican street food genre. Even if you have dietary restrictions, Mexican flavors and foods are within your reach. Come ready to cook, have fun while you learn and, of course, to eat! You are also welcome to bring your own cerveza!
This is a hands-on class, so please dress appropriately for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, hair tie for long hair, etc.).
We will sample what we make, but it will not be a complete meal.
Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.
Registration closes two business days before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed.
* All payments are final and non-refundable. However, we would be happy to transfer your spot in this class to someone else if you cannot attend.
