Spices do so much more than just make food taste good, they hold the key to your health!
Join Akshaya Chinapa Reddy, from My Ayurvedic Kitchen, as she opens up her spice box and teaches you about the healing potential of spices and herbs. Feeling out of balance and out of sorts as summer's long stretch of hot weather settles in? Come discover how eating seasonally and cooking with spices can help you bounce back and feel great again! The menu includes local summer produce and will be cooked with an Indian flair, while keeping with the principles of Ayurveda.
We will make the following:
- Zucchini and Yellow Squash Kitchari
- Spiced Cauliflower Stir fry
- Spiced milk
- Stewed apples
This is a demonstration class. You will sample what Akshaya cooks, but it might not be a complete meal.
Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.
Registration closes two business days before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed.
* All payments are final and non-refundable. However, we would be happy to transfer your spot in this class to someone else if you cannot attend.
