11:00am-1:00pm. Join SFC Farmers' Market vendor Bill Nadalini, from WunderPilz, and learn the art and craft of fermenting and flavoring kombucha. In this class, you will learn how to make safe, healthy, and delicious kombucha that is full of beneficial acids and probiotics. Bill will demonstrate the process from start to finish and answer your kombucha questions! You will leave class with a basic understanding of all stages of kombucha fermentation, a container of kombucha starter culture and how to make it at home!
4:00pm - 7:00pm. Join professional butcher and co-founder of the Central Texas Meat Collective, Julia Poplawsky, in SFC's The Happy Kitchen and learn how to break down a whole hog, transforming it into roasts, chops, ribs, pork belly and more.

11:00am-1:30pm. Dumplings can be filled with almost anything, and this class will focus on traditional flavors with a local, seasonal twist. Class participants will learn step-by-step how to make dumplings, and leave feeling inspired to make them at home. Tye will demonstrate both meat-based and vegetarian fillings, and you will make dumpling dough to take home with you. She will also show you three basic ways dumplings can be cooked: fried, steamed and boiled - and how to complete the presentation with a dipping sauce and a side dish!

6:30-8:00pm. Come celebrate National Ice Cream Month with the highly delectable and popular South Austin gelateria, Dolce Neve, in SFC's The Happy Kitchen. Learn the secrets of making traditional Italian gelato using fresh, local ingredients from Austin-area dairies and SFC Farmers' markets.

6.30pm-8.30pm. Whether you like it hot or mild, spicy or sweet, salsa always brings something special to the table! SFC Guest Chef Raymundo Rios returns to The Happy Kitchen, this time to teach you how to make authentic Mexican salsas that feature the best of summer's fruits and vegetables.
10:00am-12:00pm. Guest instructor Akshaya Chinapa Reddy will guide you through the techniques that go into making delicious Indian curries by exploring curry made 3 ways: coconut-based curry, tomato-based curry, and a simple dhal (lentil curry).
