Come see how much fun it can be to spice up your menus while still keeping things light, fresh and healthy. Join Tye Lewis, owner of Tye Cooks Austin, in The Happy Kitchen to learn about the flavors and techniques of Thai cooking. Using ingredients fresh from our SFC Teaching Garden and SFC Farmers’ Markets, Tye will demonstrate how to make popular Thai street foods chicken satay and spicy coconut soup. Then you will get hands-on practice making spring rolls!
We will sample what we make, but it might not be a complete meal.
Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.
Registration closes two business days before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed.
* All payments are final and non-refundable. However, we would be happy to transfer your spot in this class to someone else if you cannot attend.
