Thanks so much for your support!
On Friday June 3rd, I'll be participating in Fred’s Walk for the 6th time! It's a guided walking tour (in person this year!) to some of Fred Victor’s downtown locations. The journey busts myths and breaks stigmas about the realities of homelessness and poverty.
The walk also tells the story about how the incredible 400+ staff members at Fred Victor are responding. Every day they help over 3,000 people and last year they served over 250,000 meals! During the entire pandemic they kept all of their 20+ locations/programs operating. Last year they opened a beautiful brand new 55-unit women's shelter on College St and just last week announced, with the City of Toronto, a project to convert an old motel and construct adjacent modular housing to add 86 more housing units.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING FRED VICTOR DO THIS IMPORTANT WORK IN OUR CITY!
Warm wishes,
Judy
