Galveston Bay Foundation’s Rain Barrel Program works in partnership with LyondellBasell and Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages to conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff, pollution, and bacteria entering Galveston Bay. Please note that due to COVID-19 we cannot accommodate in-person workshops. This workshop will consist of a virtual presentation via Zoom on the environmental benefits of collecting rainwater, as well as proper rain barrel preparation and installation instructions and tips.
Rain Barrels will be available for pickup on February 11, 2021 between the hours of 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at Marathon Petroleum- 2800 5th Ave S.
Texas City, TX 77590.Look for our rain barrel drive-thru station by the duck pond.
Cost: $35 (includes 1 barrel + 1 connector kit, admission to the workshop for yourself and one guest) Workshop participants can purchase a maximum of 2 barrels + 2 connector kits. All sales are final, and we cannot accommodate refunds. If you miss your scheduled pickup/workshop for any reason you will be able to pickup/participate in the next scheduled workshop.
